· A westerly wave is affecting most parts of the province and likely to persist till 20th March.

· Mainly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province, while cold in upper districts.

· Intermittent rain-wind/thunderstorm (with snow over high mountains) is expected in Chitral, Dir (upper and Lower), Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan (upper and Lower), Kolai-Palas, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, Torghar, Haripur, Bajaur, Mohmand, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Khyber, Kohat, Karak, Hangu,  Kurram, Orakzai, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan, Tank, North and South Waziristan districts.

· Isolated hailstorm/heavyfalls are also expected during the forecast period.
